Shin Sung Rok Talks About The Reason He Decided To Star In The Upcoming Drama “Doctor Lawyer”

Shin Sung Rok has recently talked about his role in the upcoming drama “Doctor Lawyer” and the reason he chose it!

“Doctor Lawyer” tells the story of a genius medical surgeon named Han Yi Han who loses everything after an unknown manipulation of his surgery and later returns as a medical lawyer. It also tells the story of a prosecutor from the medical crimes department who loses their family and lover through that surgery. The drama stars So Ji Sub, Im Soo Hyang, and Shin Sung Rok.

Shin Sung Rok will take on the role of Jayden Lee in the drama, he is the head of the Asian branch of Honors Hand, a company specializing in lobby and investment. He can control everything with his words and actions, and does whatever it takes to achieve success. He is a hidden character that is out of reach and is expected to be a key character in the drama.

When talking about the reason Shin Sung Rok chose this role for “Doctor Lawyer,” he explained, “I have appeared in a lot of musicals in 2021, so I really wanted to meet viewers through dramas in 2022. That’s why I thought that I would definitely accept a role if I was attracted to the character.”

That’s when he was offered the role in “Doctor Lawyer, he continued, “After receiving the offer, I read the script, and I was captivated by the charms of the character Jayden Lee, so I decided to appear (in the drama).”

He then later talked about what kind of charms Jayden Lee had that captivated him, he said, “It is very difficult to guess his thoughts and actions, he is also a secretive and powerful person. I think he is a very three-dimensional character that arouses curiosity.”

He then added, “Jayden Lee is a very secretive person so much so if I introduced the character it will be considered a spoiler.”

“Doctor Lawyer” is set to premiere on June 3.
