SBS has released new stills featuring Shin Dong Wook for their upcoming drama “Woori The Virgin” (AKA “From Today We Are”).
“Woori The Virgin” is a rom-com drama that is a remake of the popular American TV-series “Jane The Virgin.” It tells the story of Oh Woo Ri (Im Soo Hyang) who is keeping her virginity till marriage but has an unexpected accident when she goes to the OB-GYN and gets pregnant through artificial insemination, the father turns out to be Raphael (Sung Hoon), the CEO of a cosmetic company who is a secret romantic hoping one day to meet someone who he will fall in love with and live happily with them.
Shin Dong Wook will play Lee Kang Jae, a homicide detective who is Oh Woo Ri’s boyfriend, he is aware of her decision to keep her virginity till marriage and respects that. He is an honest detective with a good conscience, but when it comes to his girlfriend Woo Ri he becomes a hopeless romanticist who is disarmed.
In the newly released still, Lee Kang Jae captivates viewers with his soft visuals and sweet smile, he will display a variety of charms from the loving boyfriend to the powerful detective.
“Woori The Virgin” is set to premiere on May 9.
