Seo Kang Joon Confirmed For 1st Drama Post Military Discharge

After his discharge, Seo Kang Joon will make a comeback on MBC’s Friday-Saturday drama.

MBC announced on the 10th of June that Seo Kang Joon has been cast as the lead actor in the new drama “Undercover High School.”

The drama depicts the story of a National Intelligence Service agent who hides his identity and disguises himself as a high school student in order to chase after the whereabouts of the disappeared gold bars of Emperor Gojong. It is a comedic historical drama.

Seo Kang Joon will play the role of agent Jeong Haesung, the ace of the National Intelligence Service. This will be his first project since the 2022 drama “Grid” on Disney+.

Writer Im Yeongbin, known for dramas like “Sketch” and “The Great Seducer,” and director Choi Jeongin, who directed “Flower Blooms at Night,” have joined forces for this drama. It is scheduled to be broadcast next year.
