SBS has unveiled photos from the cast’s first script reading session for their upcoming drama “Why Her?”
“Why Her” is a romance mystery drama that tells the painful yet exciting story of Oh Soo Jae (Seo Hyun Jin), a cold lawyer who has become empty while pursuing success, and Gong Chan (Hwang In Yeop), a law school student who has fallen in love with Oh Soo Jae and will do anything to protect her. The story of these two people whose lives take a drastic turn of events when a wrong choice was made.
Actors Seo Hyun Jin, Hwang In Yeop, Heo Joon Ho, Bae In Hyuk, Kim Chang Wan, Lee Kyung Young, Bae Hae Sun, Cha Chung Hwa, Jo Dal Hwan, Kim Jae Hwa, Ji Seung Hyun, Nam Ji Hyun, Lee Joo Woo, Lee Kyu Sung, and Lee Jin Hyuk were present with director Park Soo Jin and writer Kim Ji Eun.
Seo Hyun Jin will play Oh Soo Jae, a lawyer who hides her pain with a cold face, she is a successful lawyer who is recognized by the others, she has a competitive spirit and she fears nothing in the world, she always aims for the success but that all changed why she makes the wrong choice who she believed was an opportunity for success.
Hwang In Yeop will play Gong Chan, a law school student whose life is entirely changed when he fell in love with Oh Soo Jae. Although he looks like a normal young man who has lived a normal life, his painful past tells otherwise.
Heo Joon Ho will play Choi Tae Guk, the president of TK law firm, a man who is faithful to his desires and is not afraid to freely cross the boundaries of good and evil to achieve what he wants. He keeps Oh Soo Jae, who hides her true feelings about him and acts loyal to him, close to him.
Bae In Hyuk will play Choi Yoon Sang, a law school student who hides his loneliness with his harsh exterior, he is a young man with a warm appearance and a straightforward personality. He is the second son of Choi Tae Guk who developed a crush for Oh Soo Jae when she was tutoring him for his college entrance exam.
Kim Chang Wan will play Baek Jin Ki, the head of the law school who has known Oh Soo Jae for a long time. Lee Kyung Young will play Han Seong Beom, a chairman whose actions precede his words.
Bae Hae Sun will play Ji Soon Ok, she is Gong Chan’s stepmother. Cha Chung Hwa will take on the role of Oh Soo Jae’s only friend Chae Joon Hee, and Ji Seung hyun will play TK law firm’s chairman Choi Tae Guk eldest son Choi Joo Wan.
“Why Her?” is set to premiere on June 3.
