Actors Ryu Seung Ryong, Ahn Jae Hong and Kim Yoo Jung will unite with director Lee Byung Hun’s new OTT platform Netflix new series “Sweet And Sour Chicken.”
On September 30, Netflix said, ” Ryu Seung Ryong, Ahn Jae Hong and Kim Yoo Jung have confirmed their appearance in ‘Sweet And Sour Chicken.'”
The original webtoon of the same name is the representative work of writer Park Ji Dok, who won the encouragement award for Naver Webtoon’s “The Biggest Contest on Earth” in 2019. “Sweet And Sour Chicken” is a comic mystery tracking drama about the struggle between Min Ah’s father Sun Man, and Baek Jung, who has a crush on Min Ah to bring back Sun Man’s daughter Min Ah, who goes inside a mysterious machine and transforms into a sour and sweet chicken.
Expectations are soaring as Lee Byung Hun, the director of “My Beautiful Days,” “Extreme Job,” and the drama “Be Melodramatic,” has been confirmed for the direction of “Sweet And Sour Chicken,” which features an unrivalled storyline. Viewers around the world are paying attention to this work as to what director Lee Byung Hun, who has made many people laugh with his rhythmic taste of words and pleasant developments in every work, will show in “Sweet And Sour Chicken.”

Ryu Seung Ryong plays Choi Sun Man, the president of the company who produces all the machines that turn his daughter back into a human who has transformed into a sweet and sour chicken. Kim Yoo Jung, who has built her own acting career world, is expected to meet with director Lee Byung Hun for the first time, adding to expectations.
