Actors Ryu Jun Yeol and Jeon Yeo Bin will host the opening ceremony of the 27th Busan International Film Festival to be held at the Film Center on October 5.
Ryu Jun Yeol was invited to the Today-Panorama section of the 20th Busan International Film Festival for the drama “Glory Day” (2015) and has attended the ceremony. Actress Jeon Yeo Bin won the Actor of the Year Award at the 22nd Busan International Film Festival for “After My Death” (2017). The two actors, who previously have a good relationship with the Busan International Film Festival, have been selected as hosts this year and they will stand in front of numerous filmmakers and audiences on the opening day.
In addition, Ryu Jun Yeol made his debut with “Socialphobia” in 2014 and made an impression on the public by getting recognition for his solid acting skills, and has been active by showing unique characters on-screen with dramas such as “Reply 1988” in 2015-2016, “Lucky Romance” in 2016, movies “Believer” in 2017, and “Taxi Driver” in 2017.
