Park Shin Hye And Kim Jae Young Showcase Chemistry In “Judge From Hell” 1st Script Reading Session

The script reading for the new SBS drama Judge from Hell has been unveiled and along with it, SBS has confirmed the drama will air some time in September.

Judge from Hell is an action-fantasy drama about a demon named Kang Bitna who possesses the body of a judge. She meets a passionate and humanistic detective, Han Daon, in a hellish reality, and together they dispense justice to wrongdoers. Through this process, Kang Bitna evolves into a true judge, blending good and evil.

The script reading was attended by writer Jo Isu, director Park Jin Pyo, and key cast members including Park Shin Hye, Kim Jae Young, Kim In Kwon, Kim Ah Young, Lee Kyu Han, Kim Jae Hwa, and Kim Hye Hwa.

Park Shin Hye impressed everyone with her portrayal of Kang Bitna, showing a wide range of emotions from the mundane human side to the unpredictable demon side of the character.

Kim Jae Young also made a strong impression, hinting at the emergence of a new charming character. He plays Han Daon, a humanistic detective who even warms the heart of a demon. He portrayed the character’s hidden pain with nuance and showed a fatal yet lovely chemistry with Park Shin Hye, heightening anticipation for the drama.

Supporting actors Kim In Kwon and Kim Ah Young brought plenty of humor to the table with their excellent comic timing. The drama also features talented actors like Kim Hong Pa and Kim Young Ok, along with Lee Kyu Han, Kim Jae Hwa, Kim Hye Hwa, and others, who are expected to create powerful synergy.

Judge from Hell is set to premiere in September.
