There were rumours that Actor Park Ji Hyun (28) was a wrestler in the past. However, her agency responded to the rumours.

On December 14th, an official from Namu Actors, Park Ji Hyun’s agency confirmed that Park Ji Hyun was not a wrestler.

When Park Ji Hyun said that she played Ssireum, a traditional Korean sport similar to wrestling, during her school days, some photos were spread without confirming the truth. Because of this, the public’s interest was poured into the background of Park Ji Hyun’s conversion to an actor and her activities as a wrestler, but it was eventually confirmed that this was incorrect information.

Park Ji Hyun, who debuted in 2014, has worked in the movie “Gonjiam”, and dramas “The King Loves”, “Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung”, “Do you like Brahms?”, “Yumi’s Cells” and “Love All Play”.

She is currently playing the role of Mo Hyun Min, the eldest daughter of the owner of the Hyeonseong Ilbo, in the JTBC drama “Reborn Rich”. Mo Hyun Min is the sister-in-law of Jin Do Jun (Song Joong Ki) in her play, and Park Ji Hyun’s extraordinary presence catches the attention of viewers.

On the other hand, in an interview with My Daily in 2017, Park Ji Hyun revealed the reason why she had the dream of becoming an actress.

At the time, Park Ji Hyun said, “When I was in high school, I was a fat kid who only studied wearing glasses. I ate 10 chocolates a day. But I think I’ve gained more confidence than I do now. I even thought, ‘I’m a lottery ticket that I haven’t scratched yet.'” She confessed, “I lost 20 kg when I turned 20 and decided to become an actor.”
