tvN’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “Youth, Climb The Barrier” held a script reading.

TVN’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “Youth, Climb The Barrier”, written by Jung Hyun Jung, and directed by Lee Jong Jae, which will be broadcasted on February 6, 2023, is a story about a crown prince who is under a mysterious curse and a genius girl who was identified as the culprit of a family murder overnight. It is a youth redemption romance.

Actors Park Hyung Sik (Lee Hwan), Jeon So Nee (Min Jae Yi), Pyo Ye Jin (Ga Ram), Yoon Jong Seok (Han Seong On), and Lee Tae Seon (Kim Myung Jin) will meet as passionate youths of Joseon who seek the truth against their given fate. Acting veterans such as Jung Woong In (Jo Won Bo), Jo Seong Ha (Han Jung Eon), Son Byeong Ho (Kim An Jik), Lee Jong Hyeok (Wang), and Hong Soo Hyeon (Gye Bi) join them further. Director Lee Jong Jae, writer Jung Hyeon Jeong, and other leading actors gathered at the script reading site.

Actor Park Hyung Sik, who plays the cursed and lonely Crown Prince Lee Hwan, expressed the character’s rough personality with his cold tone and eyes. Along with this, despite suffering from an unknown curse, he maintained a dignified attitude, revealing the dignity of the crown prince. Actress Jeon So Nee, who plays the role of Min Jae Yi, a genius girl who was falsely accused of being a murderer in Kyusoo, a prestigious family that was praised, further enhanced the character’s bold charm with her unique energy. In particular, it is rumoured that the warm chemistry of Park Hyung Sik and Jeon So Nee, who met as partners in the story, was in perfect harmony with the narrative of the characters trying to save each other against the given fate.

Pyo Ye Jin, Yoon Jong Seok, and Lee Tae Seon, who will help the two of them to overcome their destiny, also shined. Pyo Ye Jin showed off her bouncy charm as Garam, the most daring maid in the eight provinces of Joseon, and Yoon Jong Seok delicately portrayed the scars of Han Seong On, who had everything but lost his heart. Lee Tae Seon, who plays the role of Kim Myeong Jin, an eccentric nobleman who dreams of becoming the first coroner in Joseon, doubled the liveliness of the scene with his eccentric charms.

On the other hand, the acting combination of Jung Woong In, who plays the role of Jo Won Bo, Woo Ui Jeong, the head of the Gongsin family, and Han Jung Eon, Jwa Ui Jeong, adds weight to the power struggle. Son Byung Ho, who plays Young Ui Jeong and Kim An Jik, relieved the tension with a gentle smile as soon as the acting of the two actors heightened the atmosphere. Lee Jong Hyuk and Hong Soo Hyun, who met the king who ruled Joseon and his relatives, showed the aspect of the national treasure with their sincere voices and benevolent smile.

“Youth, Climb The Barrier” announced its full-fledged start with the news of the script reading, in which the synergy between the five ambitious actors who have proven their presence in a number of works and the veteran actors who are seasoned is outstanding.

“Youth, Climb The Barrier” will premiere on February 6th, 2023 at 8:50 pm KST.
