Park Eun Bin, Seol Kyung Gu, Yoon Chan Young, And Park Byung Eun Confirmed For Disney+ Drama
Park Eun Bin, Seol Kyung Gu, Yoon Chan Young, and Park Byung Eun have been cast in the upcoming Disney+ original series “Hyperknife.”
“Hyperknife” is a medical thriller that revolves around “Jung Se Ok,” a once-promising genius doctor who encounters her former mentor, “Choi Deok Hee,” after a series of events bring her to the brink. The series depicts the intense rivalry and mind games that ensue between the two.
Park Eun Bin will play “Jung Se Ok,” who was once known as a genius doctor but now works as a shadow doctor in an illegal surgery clinic. Her character will showcase explosive emotional changes as she reunites with her former mentor, “Choi Deok Hee,” portrayed by Seol Kyung Gu. “Choi Deok Hee” is a world-renowned neurosurgeon who once respected and mentored “Jung Se Ok” but later drove her out of the hospital.
Yoon Chan Young will take on the role of “Seo Young Joo,” who acts as “Jung Se Ok’s” bodyguard, always staying by her side like a shadow. Meanwhile, Park Byung Eun will join the cast as “Han Hyun Ho,” an anesthesiologist who helps “Jung Se Ok” continue her surgeries, recognizing her genius talent.
The series is penned by Kim Sun Hee. Kim Jung Hyun, who directed the dramas “Awaken” and “Crazy Love,” will direct “Hyperknife,” which is set to be released in the first half of 2025.
