Actress Kim Min Ha will attend the US Critics Choice Awards.

On January 10th, Kim Min Ha’s agency Saram Entertainment told Ten Asia, “Kim Min Ha will attend the 28th Critics Choice Awards in the US representing “Pachinko”.”

Apple TV+’s “Pachinko” in which Kim Min Ha played the role of young Sunja, is a story that begins with forbidden love and chronicles of war and peace, love and parting, victory and judgment in Korea, Japan, and the United States.

“Pachinko” has been nominated for the Best Foreign Language Series award at the 28th Critics Choice Awards.

Lee Min Ho, who played the role of Han Soo, who worked with Kim Min Ha, is in the middle of filming the drama “Ask the Stars”, so he is inevitably unable to attend.

“Extraordinary Lawyer Woo Young Woo” has also been nominated for the Best Foreign Language Series Award along with “Pachinko”. Drama lead actor Park Eun Bin and director Yoo In Sik confirmed their attendance at the awards ceremony.

Previously, the Netflix original drama “Squid Game” wrote a new history by winning two awards at the US Critics Choice Awards. Actor Lee Jung Jae was honoured with the Best Actor Award, and lifted the foreign language series trophy for “Squid Game”.

Expectations are high that Korean content will be able to enjoy the joy of winning at the Critics Choice Awards this year as well.

Meanwhile, the Critics’ Choice Awards are broadcast by the Critics’ Choice Association (CCA), the largest critics’ organization in North America, including the United States and Canada. It is an award that evaluates the craftsmanship of a film and the acting skills of the actors who appear in it. It is scheduled to be held in Los Angeles, USA on January 15th.
