Oh My Girl‘s Seunghee joined the cast of the upcoming drama “Oasis”.
Her agency, WM Entertainment, said, “Seunghee has confirmed her appearance as Ham Yang Ja in KBS 2TV’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “Oasis”.”
“Oasis” is a drama depicting the story of three young people who sacrificed themselves to protect their dreams, friendships, and their first love, against the background of a turbulent Korea from the 1980s to the 1990s.
Seunghee will play the role of Ham Yang Ja, an aspiring singer who ran away from home to Seoul with one determination to succeed. She is an attractive character with honesty and cheerfulness. She will show off her extraordinary chemistry with Seol In Ah (Oh Jung Shin), her best friend in high school, in Seoul.
Seunghee said, “It is my first time taking on a positive role, so I’ll be able to show a new side of myself. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity, and I will act with all my heart so that I can show you a new side of me that is different from what I showed through Oh My Girl’s activities, so please watch over me with love. “Oasis” will be aired in March 2023.
