Netflix Says Kim Sae Ron’s Filming For “Hunting Dogs” Is Halted But Is Not Leaving The Cast
Netflix has released a statement addressing Kim Sae Ron’s participation in the upcoming drama “Hunting Dogs.”
Recently, it was revealed that Kim Sae Ron was caught by police drunk driving. The actress was revealed to have caused damage to the surrounding buildings and a traffic light since she hit a transformer. This was followed by a statement by her agency acknowledging the drunk driving, the actress has also released a personal apology letter and stepped down from one of her upcoming dramas.
In the middle of that was another highly anticipated project she was part of, “Hunting Dogs,” however, the issue is most of her scenes have already been filmed.
On May 23, a source from the upcoming drama told news outlets that after discussions, Kim Sae Ron will not be participating in scheduled filming, adding, ‘most of the actress’s scenes have already been completed and its currently being discussed with the production team whether her existing footage will be edited out. She is not leaving the cast.’
“Hunting Dogs” production is still being carried out, the production team stated they will inform fans of more details once the release date is confirmed.
“Hunting Dogs” will mark Woo Do Hwan’s comeback since his military discharge. Kim Sae Ron plays a very integral role in the upcoming drama, she plays the role of Hyun Joo, she’s like family to Mr. Choi [played by veteran actor Heo Joon Ho].
