Netflix Officially Confirms “Squid Game” Season 2 Is Coming Soon + Lee Jung Jae Confirmed To Return
“Squid Game” Season 2 is officially happening!
Previously, director Hwang Dong Hyuk said in an interview that he’s in the middle of discussions with Netflix about a second and third season of “Squid Game.”
On January 21, Netflix’s co-chief executive officer stated that “Squid Game” season two is happening soon. He also said, ‘the squid game universe has just begun.’ Lee Jung Jae will also be joining the second season.
The director also revealed the core plotline of “Squid Game” season 2, he said the focus of the story will be on Lee Jung Jae’s character unraveling the mysteries of the organization behind it, Gi Hun will chase after the people responsible for this.
