Sad news for the fans of actor Nam Joo Hyuk since the actor has confirmed that he will be enlisting in the military in December this year.

On October 17, the actor’s agency, Soop Management, said, “Nam Joo Hyuk will complete his filming schedule and join the active military service in December.

The model-turned-actor Nam Joo Hyuk made himself known to the public after appearing in the music videos of the group AKMU’s songs “200%” and “Give Love,” and made his debut as an actor by playing the role of Big in the tvN drama “Surplus Princess.”

Since then, he has appeared in dramas such as “Who Are You: School 2015,” “Cheese in the Trap,” “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo” “The Light in Your Eyes,” “Startup,” “Twenty Five Twenty One,” and the movie “The Great Battle.”

He has been filming for the Disney+ original web series “Vigilante” where he plays the role of dark hero Kim Ji Young who joins the police force with the intention of finding his parent’s enemies. The drama is scheduled to be released next year.
