Nam Joo Hyuk Reported To Enlist In December, Wrapped Up Filming For Upcoming Drama And Waiting For The Notice

Actor Nam Joo Hyuk is reportedly still waiting for his notice to join the military after completing all his planned schedules.

According to the industry insider, Nam Joo Hyuk finished filming the Disney+ original series “Vigilante,” his last work before joining the military. It is rumored that Nam Joo Hyuk’s portion was filmed in advance as he was notified to join the military in December, and other actors and production staff are still filming till the end. A source from his agency then briefly commented that the actor has wrapped up filming for his drama and is waiting for his draft notice.

Nam Joo Hyuk is still waiting for his enlistment date because the draft notice has not yet been issued. An official said, “I think it will be difficult for him to join the military in December because he didn’t receive the notice of enlistment.” In response, Nam Joo Hyuk is expected to quietly enjoy personal maintenance time until the notice of enlistment is issued.

Nam Joo Hyuk, who was born in 1994, joins the army at age 28 and is considered one of the oldest to join the military. He made his debut as a model in 2013 and became a rising star through tvN’s “Cheese in the Trap,” SBS’s “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo,” and MBC’s “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo,” starting with KBS 2TV’s “School 2015.”

In addition, Netflix’s “The School Nurse Files,” tvN’s “Start-Up,” and tvN’s “Twenty-five Twenty-one,” showed off the charm of youth stars, while raising attention to the screen with the films “The Great Battle,” “Josee,” and “Remember.”

“Vigilante,” which will be released after Nam Joo Hyuk joins the military, is based on a popular webtoon by Kim Kyu Sam, and depicts a story of a metropolitan investigation team investigator tracking down Vigilante, who judges evil people who have escaped the law. Nam Joo Hyuk plays the character of the dark hero Ji Yong who fights evil.
