Two weekend dramas ratings are on the rise!
On April 24, “From Now On, Showtime” aired its second episode. According to Nielsen Korea, the drama scored an average nationwide rating of 3.6%, a rise from its premiere episode which scored 2.8%.
“From Now On, Showtime” is a fantasy rom-com about Cha Cha Woong (Park Hae Jin), a popular magician who can summon ghosts, and a passionate police constable who has supernatural powers named Go Seul Hae (Jin Ki Joo).
KBS’s “The King of Tears, Lee Bang Won” soared to an average nationwide rating of 11.3%, a rise from the previous night, while OCN’s “A Superior Day” dipped to a nationwide average of 0.8%
Meanwhile, JTBC’s “My Liberation Notes” also climbed to its highest viewership ratings yet scoring an average nationwide rating of 3.8%, a considerable jump from the previous night and its personal best thus far.
“Our Blues” ratings remain strong with 7.7% while TV Chosun’s “Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce) 3″—which airs in the same time slot- scored a similar average nationwide rating of 7.5%.

Our Gong Yoo must be so happy right now to hear this, I hope “My Liberation Notes” continues to score better with each week. The drama is freaking amazing and it makes my heart full.
I’ve been enjoying it so much, as much as I had expected, especially with this week’s episodes. “Our Blues” has also been enjoyable, but I understand why the drama ratings are not rising, I expect it to see go up and down depending on who the focus is on. I also checked out “From Now On, Showtime,” I liked the premiere too, I might write a review on it soon.
