MONSTA X’s Hyungwon might be making a special cameo appearance in this highly anticipated upcoming kdrama!
On May 9th, media outlets reported that MONSTA X member Hyungwon will make a special appearance in the new Genie TV original drama “Oh! Youngsim.”
“Oh! Youngsim” is a romantic comedy drama that tells the story of Youngsim and Kyungtae, who grew up as childhood friends and meet again after 20 years as adults. Actors Song Ha Yoon and Donghae are starring in the drama, and fans are curious to see how Hyungwon will contribute to the show.
Previously, Hyungwon proved his potential as an actor by appearing in the web drama “Fly Again” as the character Han Yohan. As a K-pop musical drama, he showcased various charms by not only acting but also dancing and singing.
“Oh! Youngsim” will air its first episode on May 15th at 10 pm on Genie TV and ENA.
Since his debut with MONSTA X in 2015, Hyungwon has expanded his activities as an all-around producer, including producing the group’s album tracks, producing member Kihyun’s solo album tracks, and working as an external musician producer. He’s also MCs.
