“Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area” was released a couple of days ago. The drama is a remake of the popular massive Spanish series “Money Heist.”
Soon after the drama was released, it received mixed responses from audiences. On IMDB, the drama’s rated 5.1 stars out of 10, which is among the lowest rated Korean Netflix projects. In comparison, ‘Squid Game’ scored 8.0, ‘All of Us Are Dead’ scored 7.5, ‘Hellbound’ scored 6.6, and ‘The Silent Sea’ scored 6.9.

About 32.7% of the total viewers ratings gave it the lowest score of 1 point. While 29.6% of the total viewers ratings gave it a 10.
There seems to be a huge gap between the judgment of those who watched it and those who didn’t. The fans who have seen the original work gave the remake bad reviews as they felt it lacked freshness and felt like a downgraded copy from the original work.
