MBC’s “My Dearest” is now ahead of SBS’s “The First Responders 2”!
According to Nielsen Korea, August 18 episode of Namgoong Min and Ahn Eun Jin drama saw a sharp rise to almost double its rating last week, it recorded an average rating of 8.4%, a jump of 3.2% from last week’s episode.
With this the MBC drama pulled ahead of SBS’s “The First Responders 2”— which airs in the same time slot. “The First Responders 2” recorded an average nationwide rating of 6.3%.
For this particular time slot and for a while now, SBS dramas have almost always taken the lead, with Namgoong Min at the helm of the MBC drama, viewers wonder if that’ll signal a shift in the dynamics of this time slot, will MBC be able to dominate this time slot?
Only time will tell.
