The Main Cast Of “Hwayugi” Waves Goodbye To The Drama

The final episode of tvN’s popular drama “Hwayugi” aired its last episode on March 4. The drama has been around for 20 episodes, many kdrama fans were upset to let the drama go.

Lee Seung Gi, Oh Yeon Seo, Lee Hong Ki, and Lee Se Young took a look back at the drama and relied their gratitude to the viewers.

Lee Seung Gi said,

“I feel sorry about the ending of the drama. However, I gave it my all until the very end, so I have no regrets.

I feel grateful for the writers and the directors who helped me return with an amazing project to the small screen.

My character, Son Oh Gong, was able to shine because of Cha Seung Won, I would like to thank the actors who worked so hard on the drama with me, as well as all of those who worked hard behind the scenes.”

Oh Yeon Seo said,

“’Hwayugi’ and Jin Seon Mi were new challenges for me, so I think that the project will remain in my memory for a long time.

I would also like to thank the directors, writers and the staff who worked so hard during the cold weather. I was happy during the time I spent working with my senior and junior actors, I also want to thank the viewers who loved the drama throughout its run.”

FTISLAND’s Lee Hong Ki stated,

“‘Journey to the West’ might have been familiar, but the drama ‘Hwayugi’ is a unique drama. I had a lot of fun. I enjoyed being able to act alongside great actors. I also want to thank the staff who worked so hard during the cold weather to create the drama.”

Actress Lee Se Young also relied her gratitude to the drama staff who worked so hard during the drama run. She added,

“Since I am an actress who is still lacking in many ways, I will inevitably have some regrets about this drama, however, I plan on working hard and showing the audience that I have improved. Thank you to all who tuned in.”
