Recently, JTBC’s new weekend drama “The Tale of Lady Ok” confirmed its broadcasting details with new teaser posters and videos. The drama tells the intense survival story of Ok Taeyoung (played by Lim Ji Yeon), a woman whose name, status, and even husband are all fake, and Cheon Seunghui (played by Choo Young Woo), a man who risked his life to protect her.
Anticipation is rising for Lim Ji Yeon’s transformation into a runaway slave, with the first teaser video revealing the story of Taeyoung (played by Lim Ji Yeon), a slave who chose a fake life to live like a human. The teaser has heightened expectations even further.
In the video, Gudeok’s trembling figure and the glimpses of her harrowing, miserable past as a slave capture attention. She is shown enduring brutal beatings in the snow, bloodied and chased by a group of people through mountain paths. Her clenched fists reflect her fierce determination to survive.
