Lim Ji Yeon shared her thoughts on her public relationship with her boyfriend, Lee Do Hyun.

On the 1st of August, an interview with Lim Ji Yeon, the lead actress of the movie “Revolver,” was held at a cafe in Sogyeok-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul.

“Revolver” (directed by Oh Seung-wook, distributed by Plus M Entertainment, produced by Sanai Pictures, co-produced by Plus M Entertainment and Story Rooftop) follows former police officer Soo Young (played by Jeon Do Yeon), who goes to prison after taking the fall for various crimes. Upon her release, she pursues a singular goal.

In the film, Lim Ji Yeon plays Jung Yoon Sun, a nightclub madam whose true allegiance—whether as an ally or betrayer—is unclear.

Lim Ji Yeon and Lee Do Hyun, who is five years younger than her, became romantically involved after meeting on the set of “The Glory.” They publicly confirmed their relationship on April 1 of last year. However, they were separated when Lee Do Hyun enlisted in the military in August of the same year. Despite this, Lee Do Hyun attended the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards in May this year, where he won the Best New Actor award.

During his acceptance speech, he thanked his girlfriend, Lim Ji Yeon, which garnered significant attention.

When asked about her boyfriend Lee Do Hyun during the interview, Lim Ji Yeon responded candidly. She mentioned that they met during the Baeksang Awards and have been very supportive of each other. “He is doing well and staying healthy in the military,” she added.

Regarding Lee Do Hyun’s comment “Ji Yeon, thank you,” she said, “I was backstage preparing to present an award and didn’t hear it, but he congratulated me a lot afterward.”

When asked if being in a public relationship is burdensome as an actor, she humorously replied, “What can we do when the paparazzi caught us?” eliciting laughter from those around her.

Lim Ji Yeon expressed her gratitude for the positive influence of having a partner in the same profession, saying, “We support each other a lot and don’t interfere much with each other’s work, but the support means a lot.”

“Revolver” is set to be released on August 7
