SBS has confirmed that singer and actor Lee Seung Gi is discussing his departure from season 2 of “All The Butlers,” and that they will wait for him until he returns.

On November 29, an SBS official told Maeil Economy Star Today, “We are in the middle of confirming Lee Seung Gi’s departure from season 2 of ‘All The Butlers’.” This was in response to reports that the actor is not joining season 2.

Later, SBS said in a statement, “The production team will start recording with the existing members while waiting for Lee Seung Gi. The timing of Lee Seung Gi’s joining is undecided. the production team and cast hope that Lee Seung Gi, who is struggling with his heart, will resolve everything well, and return as soon as possible”

“All The Butlers,” which finished its first season in September, is an entertainment program with the concept of learning from the master as a student, and Lee Seung Gi, Yang Se Hyung, Kim Dong Hyun, and Eun Ji Won participated as students. At the end of season 1, it was announced that the show will return with season 2.

Lee Seung Gi was also scheduled to join Season 2, which is set to be filmed for the first time in mid-December, but attention was drawn to reports that he decided not to appear in Season 2 after a long discussion.

Lee Seung Gi has recently been engaged in a battle for truth due to a dispute with his agency Hook Entertainment over the unpaid settlement of music fees.

Earlier, Lee Seung Gi demanded for proof of contents from his agency through the law firm Pacific Ocean on November 17, saying that he had not properly received the proceeds of his music for over 18 years when he signed an exclusive contract with Hook Entertainment. Earlier, Hook Entertainment was in the middle of controversy after being raided by the National Police Agency.

However, on November 23, Dispatch released an alleged audio recording, which is the conversation between CEO Kwon, the director of Hook Entertainment, and the manager of Lee Seung Gi at a meeting on November 17, which caused a stir and the repercussions grew. Later, Hook Entertainment announced that the claims regarding not paying music profit earnings are false and they have cleared all debt relations between the parties when they renewed the contract with Lee Seung Gi around 2021. However, the legal representative Lee Seung Gii refuted Hook Entertainment’s statement and concluded that any further discussion with the agency is meaningless.

Meanwhile, Lee Seung Gi has been filming the movie “The Great Family” since early this month.
