The internet is buzzing about Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In but its not for the reason you’d think, the couple is rumored to have broken up.
On August 4, Lee Da In posted a cryptic message to her Instagram stories, she said,
“I’m just a woman who’s willing to live each day to the fullest. Because it’s your life, and you only live once. No one else live your life for you. So I will bare all the bitterness, and cherish all the happiness in life.”
Lee Da In took down the post shortly after, while some fans speculated that she was only sharing a snippet from a song, others speculated that she was referring to her boyfriend Lee Seung Gi.
Soon, rumors about Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In breakup became a trending topic on social media with fans sharing mixed feelings regarding the possibility.
The two actors’ agencies were contacted for a comment but their responses only fueled the rumors even more. Lee Seung Gi’s Hook Entertainment said “it is hard to verify,” while Lee Da In’s agency 9ATO Entertainment told Star News “we don’t know.”
The agencies response definitely surprised fans as they expected a more direct answer regarding the rumors.
Lee Da In and Lee Seung Gi confirmed they were dating earlier this year, however, their dating news was met with negative response as fans were opposed to Lee Seung Gi dating Lee Da In due to her complicated family history as her step-father was accused of stock manipulation.
One fan even funded a truck asking Lee Seung Gi to break up with her and consider his clean image which they allege was tarnished because he was dating her.
Lee Seung Gi had previously introduced his girlfriend to his grandmother leading fans to believe their relationship was serious.
