Actors Lee Min Ki, Han Ji Hyun, Lee Yi Kyung, and Jeon Bae Soo will be teaming up in a new medical drama.

On September 26, the production team of KBS2’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “Face Me” (written by Hwang Ye Jin, directed by Jo Rok Hwan) announced that the cast has been confirmed, with the drama set to premiere in November. The four stars will portray a collaboration between a plastic surgeon and a detective from the violent crimes unit.

“Face Me” is a medical-crime thriller about a cold, skilled plastic surgeon and a passionate MZ generation detective who work together on reconstructive surgery for crime victims to uncover the truth behind various cases. The drama will explore how these two characters, with their opposite temperaments, gradually grow closer through their partnership.

Director Jo Rok Hwan of Voice 2 and writer Hwang Ye Jin of Secret Mother are behind the project, which will blend elements of mystery, thriller, romance, and medical humanism. The main cast brings together diverse talents:

Lee Min Ki plays Cha Jung Woo, a top plastic surgeon who is both visually and professionally flawless. He specializes in both plastic and emergency surgery and has the ability to visualize the causes of accidents and treatments upon seeing a patient’s injuries. However, he is emotionally detached and cold until he meets a woman who starts to change him.

Han Ji Hyun portrays Lee Min Hyeong, a detective with confidence and strong empathy. While focused on catching criminals, she unexpectedly finds herself working with Cha Jung Woo on supporting crime victims, leading to a deeper connection between them.

Lee Yi Kyung plays Han Woo Jin, a close high school friend of Cha Jung Woo and a fellow plastic surgeon with a philanthropic spirit. He is sharp, funny, and supportive, helping Cha Jung Woo heal from his emotional scars.

Jeon Bae Soo takes on the role of Kim Seok Hoon, the head of KSH Plastic Surgery and a mentor to Cha Jung Woo. He is a skilled businessman with a warm heart but also a calculating side when it comes to his own interests.

“Face Me” is scheduled to air in November.
