The upcoming drama remake of the popular movie “The Beauty Inside” has finally confirmed its lead cast.
Lee Min Ki and Seo Hyun Jin will lead the upcoming drama set to air on JTBC later this year.
“The Beauty Inside” is loosely based on the popular 2015 movie with the same title. It tells the story of Han Se Gye (played by Seo Hyun Jin), she is an A-list actress that spend one week of each month living in someone else’s body. Lee Min Ki plays the role of Seo Do Jae, a man who suffers from prosopagnosia; he cannot recognize other people’s faces.
This is actress Seo Hyun Jin and PD Song Hyun Wook second collaboration; they previously worked together on tvN hit drama “Another Oh Hae Young.”
Seo Hyun Jin shared her feelings and said that she thinks the drama will be able to entertain viewers in ways the movie didn’t do. She also added that she will do her best in her upcoming work.
Lee Min Ki also expressed his excitement; he revealed he was a fan of “Another Oh Hae Young” and was looking forward to work alongside the PD and the actress.
