According to the drama “Ask the Stars,” shooting ended on the 19th and they are now entering the latter stages of production.
“Ask the Stars” is a highly anticipated work that has been gaining attention since even before filming began, with the return of the romantic comedy master, writer Seo Sook-hyang, and the delicate director, Park Shin-woo, who worked together on “The incarnation of Jealousy.” In addition, the meeting of Lee Min Ho and Gong Hyo Jin garnered attention. After completing filming on the 12th (Wed), they will now focus on preparing for the latter stages of production to meet audiences at home and abroad.
As a drama set in space, numerous VFX (Visual Effects) are expected to be used. Therefore, they will now enter the latter stages of production to enhance the quality of the drama after completing the filming crank-up. The production team of “Ask the Stars” said, “We used various filming techniques to express the weightless state inside the spacecraft, the spectacle of stars unfolding outside the space station, and the vast scenery of space, so you can expect some impressive visuals. We deeply appreciate all the actors and staff who worked day and night to successfully complete the filming,” adding, “Thanks to Lee Min Ho and Gong Hyo Jin’s excellent chemistry, the filming went smoothly, and the viewers will be drawn into their acting like a black hole.”
Meanwhile, “Ask the Stars” is a romantic comedy set in a space station, which is the first of its kind in Korea. Lee Min Ho plays a doctor who enters the space station as a space tourist, while Gong Hyo Jin plays Captain Eve Kim, a perfectionist and top astronaut who does not tolerate even the slightest mistake. They plan to draw a special romance against the vast backdrop of space.
