My Reaction

I didn’t know I needed this apology until I got it 😉

Seriously thou, I hated how much he preferred historical dramas to other types of dramas.

A quick search through oppa’s choices in dramas and you will notice he does historical dramas most of the time, he’s been doing so for so many years.

I feel like actors need to escape being typecast, but he seems to like it? I never saw a Korean actor who likes being cast in the same type of drama except for Lee Joon Gi.

I don’t know! I wouldn’t wanna keep playing the same type of character over and over again each year! Its sad! Lee Joon Gi is a talented actor why is he doing this to himself?

He is growing older lets admit that, the more he does historical projects, the more people will only see him as one, he won’t have the chance to grow and learn new things.

There are so many types of dramas he can do, and he can do well in all of them, there is sci-fi, rom-com, action, psychological thrillers and the list goes on and on.

I can’t find a logical explanation for why he’s only done historical dramas in the past but I am glad he is not coming back with a historical drama this year.

Aside from the fact that I hate historical dramas, it’ll be nice to see how well he can do in other types of dramas, I am so excited, psychological thrillers are so much fun.

I also took a look at what type of character he’ll play and I like how different it is from what he usually goes for, I can’t wait to next Wednesday!

  1. I love historical dramas. I’ve watched all of his dramas. All are really really great. After watching his dramas, I’ve lost interest in modern era dramas. I like shows that have msg for society and justice and I got to watch all that in his dramas. So I love all the characters he potrayed.

  2. He would be amazing in any drama. However, I really like his historical dramas. I would be more than thrilled to see SHR2 or a movie at least as ending with happy vibe and not total depression. I am looking forward for all his projects, as he is very talented and handsome as well
