Actor Lee Jong Won will play the male lead in MBC’s new drama “Flowers that Bloom at Night”.

MBC’s new drama “Flowers that Bloom at Night” is about Jo Yeo Hwa, a widow for 15 years. She is the daughter-in-law of a noble family, who lives quietly without seeing the world outside the fence while pretending to be a gentle young woman during the day, but she is a person who takes care of those in need without anyone knowing.

Lee Jong Won will play the role of Park Soo Ho, a subordinate officer of Geum Wiyoung. Park Soo Ho has excellent martial arts skills and even a sharp brain. After meeting the masked widow Yeo Hwa, they get caught up in an unexpected incident together, and his life changes drastically. 

Lee Jong Won, who showed stable and delicate acting through a number of works such as “Hospital Playlist Season 2” and “The Spy Who Loved Me”, made a strong impression on viewers by performing passionately as Hwang Tae Yong in the MBC drama “Golden Spoon” last year.
