Lee Jong Suk and YoonA will lead the upcoming 2022 tvN drama “Big Mouth” (literal title)!

“Big Mouth” is a hard-boiled noir drama about a third-rate lawyer who becomes in charge of a murder case that turns him into a genius conman known as “Big Mouse.” In order to protect his family and survive, he must expose a huge conspiracy among the privileged upper classes.

Lee Jong Suk will take on the role of Park Chang Ho, a third-rate lawyer with a 10% success rate. He is all talk and no action, thus, he’s labeled “Big Mouth.” One day, he is mistaken for a genius conman known as “Big Mouse” and his life is put in danger.

YoonA will take on the role of Go Mi Ho, a nurse, and Park Chang Ho’s wife. She has always been encouraging and supportive of her husband’s desire to become a lawyer, when she finds out he’s been mistaken for a conman, she sets to clear his name herself.

“Big Mouth” will be written by Jang Young Chul and Jung Kyung Soon who previously worked on the hit drama “Vagabond.” “Hotel Del Luna” director Oh Choong Hwan will be working on this drama too.

“Big Mouth” is set to premiere in 2022.

I can’t believe Lee Jong Suk and YoonA will be playing husband and wife, damn it, I feel old.

Lee Jong Suk has been out of the military for a while now, it took him longer than I had expected to pick his next project which tells me he’s carefully looking into projects and wants to return with a splash.

The idea behind the drama sounds interesting, he usually plays competent characters so it’ll be interesting to see how he tackles this one.

This is the type of pairing I expected at some point. They will look great together.

Considering the screenwriters who will work on this drama have worked on “Vagabond,” I am a bit worried but I hope this one turns out great. I like noir dramas.
