Lee Jong Hyun Reveals He Was Almost A Part Of The Reply Series Twice

The CNBLUE member sat down for an interview after the wrap of KBS’s drama “Girls’ Generation 1979.”

The interviewer asked him what would he do if he was ever cast in the reply series, Lee Jong Hyun shocked the interviewer by revealing that he was almost part of it, he said,

“To be honest, I was almost cast for ‘Reply 1997’ and ‘Reply 1994’ but the dates of the filming overlapped with CNBLUE’s promotions, it would’ve been overwhelming if I had agreed to it, I had to let go of the great opportunities.”

He added,

“It is a painful memory, but it had passed. The reply series did very well because of the actors in it. I watched the reply series to study for ‘Girls’ Generation 1979,’ I learned a lot from it.”
