Lee Je Hoon has conducted an interview after the conclusion of the hit drama “Taxi Driver 2” and answered various questions about the drama, the cast, his ideal type and more.

Lets go through the questions asked and his answers to them!

Q:    Are you worried about your character becoming too deeply entrenched?

▶ As an actor, I think it’s my destiny. I feel that it’s the actor’s obligation to show a new side in every work. My sense of mission is to show a different aspect of myself, not as Kim Do-ki, but as a character who fits into another work, despite having received love and recognition for a certain character or image.

Q:       Kim So Yeon made a special appearance as the first driver in the last episode.

▶ If I were driver No. 17, there would be 16 seniors before me. Their stories could be depicted, and we could collaborate in various ways to create a diverse world. I started with the idea of enjoying it, of doing it well, rather than expressing the character’s traits with doubts, as I did before. The drama gave me the courage to try different and diverse acting styles in the future. I’m grateful that people enjoyed it and found it cute.

Q:        What kind of work is ‘Taxi Driver’?

▶ In the past, I completed characters by expressing their traits while questioning myself as I walked across shaky bridges. In contrast, ‘Taxi Driver’ was approached from the perspective of “Let’s do it first and enjoy it.” I could confirm aspects of myself that I never knew existed. I am grateful for this drama because it allowed me to show a variety of different and diverse acting styles in the future. It was such a relief and joy that people enjoyed watching it.

Q:        Pyo Ye Jin said on a variety show last weekend that her ideal type is now Lee Je Hoon

▶ I’m not sure. We had fun shooting, and it’s comfortable because we were together for seasons 1 and 2. We understand each other well, and we are accommodating no matter what we do. When I’m with Rainbow Transportation people, I tend to be serious, and it’s hard for me to find a balance. However, it’s so enjoyable when we’re together.

Q:        Do you have a personal ideal type?

▶ I don’t have an external ideal type. My ideal type is someone who is like a soulmate with whom I can share interesting cultural stories and have a great time. I hope we can both work hard and watch movies together, constantly exchanging ideas about movies. I go to the cinema two to three times a week, and I’m a member of every OTT platform. I often end up falling asleep while choosing what to watch by looking at the thumbnail. Haha.
