Lee Dong Wook And Kim Bum To Return For Season 2 Of “Tale Of The Nine-Tailed” Alongside Kim So Yeon And Ryu Kyung Soo

tvN’s “Tale of the Nine-Tailed” will return with a second season!

On May 3, it was confirmed that Lee Dong Wook and Kim Bum will be returning for the season of “Tale of the Nine-Tailed.Kim So Yeon and Ryu Kyung Soo will be joining the cast for the second season, which is titled “Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938,” the new season will deliver a new kind of enjoyment from season 1, it will follow the story of a nine-tailed fox who landed in the chaotic era of 1938. The second season will have 16 episodes plus the director Kang Shin Hyo and writer Han Woo Ri from the first season will also be working on the second one.

“Tale of the Nine-Tailed” is a fantasy drama about a nine-tailed fox who settles in the city and a producer who begins to chase him. “Tale of the Nine-Tailed” aired in October of 2020 and ended with a maximum rating of 5.8%.

Although the first season Yi Yeon (Lee Dong Wook) had a happy ending with Nam Ji Ah (Jo Bo Ah), he gets caught up in an unexpected incident and summoned back to the chaotic era of 1938. The second season will show Yi Yeon’s struggle to return to the modern world where all of his loved ones are.

Lee Dong Wook will return as Yi Yeon in the second season, the handsome and self-righteous gumiho.

Kim So Yeon will play Ryo Hong Joo, the owner of Myoyeongak, a luxury restaurant in Gyeongseong, and who is also a former western mountain goddess.

Kim Bum will return as as Yi Rang, although heresolved the misunderstanding with his brother Yi Yeon in the first season and even made sacrifices, he is still in the rebellious phase when meets Yi Yeon again in 1938. There are high expectations for the ever changing relationship of the two brothers that will be depicted in the second season.

Ryu Kyung Soo will be playing Cheon Moo Young, a great doctor who can save the dead. He is also a former northern mountain god who once was the only friend of Yi Yeon and Hong Joo. However, due to a certain incident, he now harbors hostility towards Yi Yeon. He enters an inevitable battle with his old friend.

“Tale of the Nine-Tailed” is set to premiere in 2023.
