Kwon Yul Joins Uhm Tae Gu And Han Sun Hwa For Upcoming JTBC Drama

Actor Kwon Yul has been confirmed to join the main leads Han Sun Hwa and Uhm Tae Gu for the upcoming JTBC drama based on a web novel.

According to iMBC Entertainment coverage on January 10, Kwon Yul has joined JTBC’s new drama “Woman Who Plays With Me” and will work with the existing main actors Han Sun Hwa and Uhm Tae Gu.

“Woman Who Plays With Me” depicts the romance between Ji Hwan (played by Uhm Tae Gu), the eldest brother who got rid of his dark past, and Eun Ha (played by Han Sun Hwa), a mini-sister who plays with children, and is based on a web novel of the same name.

Currently, they are in the midst of filming, and the drama was also included in the lineup scheduled for JTBC’s broadcast in 2023, which was released last year. Expectations are high on what synergy the three actors with their rising acting skills will bring to the small screen.

Meanwhile, Kwon Yul debuted in 2007 with the drama “Mackerel Run” and worked on the films “Pieta,” “A Special Lady,” “Worst Woman,” “The Hunt” and dramas such as “Voice 2,” “The King: Eternal Monarch,” “Dali and Cocky Prince.” He was the MC of the entertainment programs “O Cine” and “Restaurant in Line” and showed excellent talking and hosting skills.

Han Sun Hwa debuted as a member of the idol girl group Secret in 2009 and began a new challenge as an actress in 2013. Since then, she has established herself as an actress through dramas such as “Marriage, Not Dating,” “Save Me 2,” and “Undercover,” and has solidified her position in the drama “Work later, Drink Now” in 2021 and “Work later, Drink Now 2” in 2022. She also performed outstanding roles in the movie “When Winter Comes” and is awaiting the release of “Sweet Near Sea.” in 2023 as the main character.

Uhm Tae Gu made his debut with the movie “The Epitaph” in 2007. Since then, he has shown various sides by appearing in the 2013 film “Secretly Greatly” and has shown a number of screen performances in films such as “A Taxi Driver,” “The Unfair,” “The Great Battle” and “Night in Paradise.”
