MBC’s “Kokdu: Season of Deity” has been having trouble retaining viewership ratings!
According to Nielsen Korea, MBC’s “Kokdu: Season of Deity” 8th episode recorded the drama’s lowest rating to date with 1.4% in average viewership rating, a decline from its 7th episode rating and its lowest to date.
Originally, “Kokdu: Season of Deity” premiered to promising ratings with 4.8%, however, this became the drama’s highest rating episode and the drama never managed to score in the 4% range since then.
Generally, the drama’s Friday episodes do better than Saturday’s episodes, many attribute the decline to the stiff competition from “Crash Course in Romance,” “Agency” and the newly premiered drama “Taxi Driver 2.”
Despite its star-studded cast, the drama failed to keep the momentum generated by its premiere episode.
