Kim Yoo Jung, Kim Young Dae And More Confirmed For Upcoming TVING Drama
Actress Kim Yoo Jung is teaming up with Kim Young Dae and director Lee Eung Bok.
“Dear X” is a melodramatic thriller about “Baek Ah Jin” (played by Kim Yoo Jung), an actress who wears a mask to survive, and “Yoon Joon Seo” (played by Kim Young Dae), who chooses hell to save her. The story follows Kim Yoo Jung’s character’s fall from the pinnacle of her career to rock bottom, and Kim Young Dae’s character’s desperate love to protect her.
Kim Do Hoon, And Lee Yul Eum also join the cast. Kim Do Hoon will portray Baek Ah Jin’s passionate supporter Kim Jae Oh while Lee Yul Eum will star as Rena, a former idol turned actress who has risen to the top thanks to her exceptional beauty and luck.
Directed by Lee Eung Bok, known for his work on “Sweet Home” (seasons 1-3, 2020-2024), “Mr. Sunshine,” “Goblin,” and “Descendants of the Sun,” and with the support of director Park So Hyun, “Dear X” is based on a webtoon of the same name. The screenplay is written by Choi Jae Won, known for “Drama Special – Midnight” (2023).

“Dear X” is set to premiere on TVING in 2025
