Kim Yoo Jung, Ahn Hyo Seop, Gong Myung And More Gather For First Script Reading Session Of Upcoming Historical Drama

The cast of the upcoming SBS drama “Red Sky” has gathered for the first script reading session.

“Red Sky” is based on a novel of the same title by Jung Eun Gwol, who also wrote the original novels for “Sungkyunkwan Scandal” and “The Moon Embracing the Sun.” It’s a fantasy romance set in the Joseon era. Kim Yoo Jung plays the role Hong Chun Gi, Joseon’s only female painter, a beauty who has bright energy and an extraordinary memory.

Kim Yoo Jung, Ahn Hyo Seop, Gong Myung, Kwak Si Yang, Jang Hyun Sung, Kim Kwang Gyu, and Moon Sook joined the first script reading session which was held back in November of 2020.

The drama will be directed by “My Love From the Star” and “Hyena” director Jang Tae Yoo.

“Red Sky” premieres in August.
