Actor Kim Woo Bin revealed that he was afraid during his battle with nasopharyngeal cancer.
On May 10, a preview video of the tvN variety show ‘You Quiz on the Block’ was released, featuring him as a guest.
In the video, Kim talked about his nickname “Hot Pack Angel,” saying, “It was very windy and cold on the set of ‘Our Blues.’ Since the teachers were there, I would pre-open ten hot packs in the morning and give them one by one to the staff.”
Kim Woo Bin took a break from his career to focus on his battle with cancer, and returned six years later after his recovery. He said, “I was sad when I had a hiatus and only thought about the future. Of course, I enjoyed each moment, but I thought, ‘I wish I could have enjoyed it more fully.’ I try to enjoy each moment as much as possible because I regret that time.”
When asked by Yoo Jae Suk if he had any vague fears during his illness, Kim Woo Bin replied, “I was afraid. It’s scary because it’s related to life. After I recovered, I wondered if I could return to where I used to work.”
