Kim Sung Cheol Is Resurrected In 1st Teaser For “Hellbound 2” + Premiere Date Confirmed
The dystopian series Hellbound, which garnered over 110 million viewing hours within just ten days of its release, is set to return with Season 2 on Netflix next month.
Netflix announced on the 20th of September that Hellbound Season 2 will be released on October 25. The series explores a world where supernatural beings called “messengers of hell” appear without warning and deliver sentences of damnation to people.
The upcoming season will focus on the resurrection of Park Jung Ja (played by Kim Shin Rok) and Jung Jin Soo (previously played by Yoo Ah In), who were previously sentenced to hell.
Due to ongoing legal issues concerning Yoo Ah In, Kim Sung Cheol will take over the role of Jung Jin Soo, the leader of the New Truth Society who hides his impending trip to hell.
Returning cast members include Kim Hyun Joo, Kim Shin Rok, and Lee Dong Hee, while new actors like Yang Dong Geun and Moon Geun Young will join the cast.
Season 2 is expected to deliver even more suspense and supernatural intrigue.
