The teaser poster for Kim So Hye and Lee Sang Yeob’s “Pure Boxer” has been unveiled.
On April 20th, KBS 2TV’s new drama “Pure Boxer” (Script by Kim Min Joo, Directed by Choi Sang Yeol) released a teaser poster that stimulates the imagination of viewers.
“Pure Boxer” is a drama that tells the story of match-fixing between genius boxer Lee Kwon Sook and a cold-blooded agent who makes a match that must be lost to earn the price of the fighter’s life.
The released teaser poster contains a boxing glove and a sprinkle donut that seem to have been left behind by someone in an empty ring. A phrase on the poster reads, ‘Where did the genius boxer disappear?’
Lee Sang Yeob transforms into Kim Tae Young, an S&P sports agent who attracts talented players in “Pure Boxer” and retires them in a short period of time. Kim Tae Young is a human agent who doesn’t blink when it comes to his player’s talent and money. He gets close to genius boxer Lee Kwon Sook, who returns after disappearing from boxing for 3 years.
Kim So Hye plays Lee Kwon Sook, a genius boxer who emerged as a boxing star at the age of 17. Lee Kwon Sook suddenly disappears ahead of her grand slam and dreams of a new life for her. Lee Kwon Sook meets the evil agent, Kim Tae Young, and it becomes a turning point in her life.
“Pure Boxer” is scheduled to premiere in the second half of this year.
