tvN has finally released the first script reading photos of its highly anticipated upcoming drama “Seashore Village ChaChaCha” (literal title)!
Shin Min Ah, Kim Seon Ho, Lee Sang Yi, Gong Min Jung, Kim Young Ok, Jo Han Chul, In Gyo Jin, Lee Bong Ryun, Cha Chung Hwa, Lee Yong Yi, Shin Shin Ae, and Kang Hyung Suk were present at the first script reading along with the director Yoo Je Won and writer Shin Ha Eun attended the first script reading.
The drama is based on the remake of the film “Mr. Hong,” and tells the romance story of dentist Yoon Hye Jin and Hong Doo Shik, known as Mr. Hong in the village of Gongjin.
Shin Min Ah is taking on the role of dentist Yoon Hye Jin, a woman who has both beauty and brains. Her life begins to fall apart because of the righteousness in her heart and after overcoming obstacles, she moves to the seashore village Gongjin and meets Mr. Hong.
Kim Seon Ho is taking on the role of Hong Doo Shik, aka Mr. Hong. He is unemployed but is a master at odd jobs and helps everyone around his town.

“Seashore Village ChaChaCha” will be written by Shin Ha Eun, who previously co-wrote “The Crowned Clown,” and directed by Yoo Je Won who worked on “Oh My Ghostess” and “Tomorrow With You.”
“Seashore Village ChaChaCha” is scheduled to premiere in the second half of the year via tvN and joins the list of one of the most anticipated kdramas of 2021.
