The first ever still from “Thief: Sound of the Sword” is revealed.
On January 17th, Netflix unveiled the first still from Kim Nam Gil and Seohyun’s upcoming drama.
“Thief: Sound of the Sword” is an action drama in which those who are headed to Gando, a lawless land, due to turbulent Japanese colonial eras and different stories, unite to protect the homes of Koreans. Kim Nam Gil, Seohyun, Yoo Jae Myung, Lee Hyun Wook, and Lee Ho Jung will present a turbulent era as various figures who have lived their chaotic times in their own ways.
Kim Nam Gil will play Lee Yoon, a man who previously served in the Japanese military, but then left everything to go to Gando to become a thief, protecting the land and its people.
Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun will play Nam Hee Shin, an employee at the Japanese Government-General of Korea’s Railway Bureau.
Yoo Jae Myung will play Choi Choong Soo, a Korean landowner in Gando. Lee Hyun Wook will play Lee Gwang Il, he is an opportunistic Japanese military officer who also has a terrible relationship with Lee Yoon, while Lee Ho Jung will play Eon Nyeon, a gunman who goes to Gando because she was ordered to kill Lee Yoon.
“Thief: Sound of the Sword” will be released in the 3rd quarter of 2023.
