Kim Min Kyu is already preparing for his new drama!
On May 23, it was confirmed that Kim Min Kyu will star in the upcoming drama “High Priest Rembrary.”
“High Priest Rembrary” is adapted from a web novel titled “Holy Idol” which has also been turned into webtoon. The drama is a fantasy romance that depicts the story of the high priest Rembrary who possesses a body of an unknown idol Woo Yeon Woo.
Kim Min Kyu will play Rembrary, he is a high priest from another world who came to this world to fight a demon but he surprisingly wakes up in a body of a handsome idol. Viewers can look forward to watching this interesting comedy-drama and how the character will try to fit into the life of an idol, romance that wasn’t in the original script, and Kim Min Kyu’s transformation into this character.
Kim Min Kyu has gained attention with his most recent role in SBS’ hit drama “A Business Proposal.” The actor first made his debut in 2013 in the tvN drama “Monster.” He then appeared in numerous dramas including “Signal,” “Perfume,” “Backstreet Rookie,” and “Queen: Love and War.”
“High Priest Rembrary” is set to air in the first half of 2023.
