Actress Kim Go Eun has recently sat down for an interview with Sports Donga to talk about her upcoming movie alongside Park Jung Min “Sunset in my Hometown.”

The actress talked about her fears of returning with a successful production following the great reception of “Goblin,” she said,

“I was worried about my next work after ‘Goblin.’ I learned that through experience there will be extreme amount of pressure when you take a role where you’re on your own. I wanted to have fun in a role where I could talk back and forth with others.”

The actress also explained why she chose “Sunset in my Hometown” as her comeback role, she said,

“I wished to work on something that would help heal me. I was offered the role at the perfect time. I wanted to work on something that would be joyful not something I use to advance my career.”

She also explained that the director of the movie and actor Park Jung Min influenced her decision in choosing the movie; she added that it was a rare chance to come across an opportunity to share the screen with Park Jung Min.

She also talked about how she and Park Jung Min both graduated from Korea National University of Arts. she said,

“He’s the sunbae that I know well but I have never met him at a work place. When I saw him act in this movie, I understood that he was a great actor. His responsibility and attitude towards his craft is very impressive. I have more respect for him now.”

Kim Go Eun plays the role Sun Mi in the upcoming comedy movie “Sunset in my Hometown” which tells the story of a man Hak Soo (Park Jung Min) who returns to his hometown because of a phone call, he meets his crush Sun Mi. The movie will be released on July 4.
