Kim Dong Wook addressed the issue with two of his dramas airing at competition times.

Recently, the production presentation for the new KBS2 drama “Run Into You” (written by Baek So-yeon, directed by Kang Soo-yeon) was held. Director Kang Soo-yeon and actors Kim Dong Wook, Jin Ki Joo, Seo Ji Hye, and Lee Won Jung attended the event and shared various stories about the production.

“Run Into You” is a strange and beautiful time travel story of a man and a woman trapped in 1987. Yun Hae-jun (Kim Dong Wook) and Baek Yun-young (Jin Ki Joo) realize that their goals are connected and set out to uncover the truth behind a series of past murders.

Originally, “Run Into You” was scheduled to air on Thursdays, but it caused controversy as Kim Dong Wook was also cast in the tvN drama “Delightfully Deceitful,” about this Kim Dong Wook said, “Both works are attractive, so I tried my best to do my best in both of them. It’s important to be able to fully show both works to the viewers. I hope that any work I do will be loved.”

Director Kang expressed his regret, saying, “I felt sorry for Kim Dong Wook because the scheduling change put his next work on a collision course with this one for about a month. But he was worried about me. It was like an unfortunate coincidence, but we spent time making sure it wouldn’t become an issue.”

“Run Into You” will air on May 1st while “Delightfully Deceitful” will air on May 29, while both dramas air every Monday and Tuesday, their airing time only slightly collides with “Delightfully Deceitful” airing at 20:50 p.m. while “Run Into You” airs at 21:50 p.m.
