KBS has released a new statement to announce that “Imitation” will air before “Dear.M.”
“Dear.M” was originally scheduled to air in late February but after its lead actress Park Hye Soo was accused of school bullying, and despite the agency’s denial, the premiere date was put on hold indefinitely.
On March 15, KBS stated they will air “Imitation” on May 7, while “Dear.M” premiere date is still being discussed. The drama was scheduled to air each Friday.
“Imitation” is based on a webtoon of the same name about the lives of idols in the entertainment industry. The cast includes many idols and rising actors: Jung Ji So, ATEEZ’s Yunho, Seonghwa, Jongho, and San; SF9’s Chani and Hwiyoung; U-KISS’s Lee Jun Young; T-ara’s Jiyeon; former I.O.I and PRISTIN member Lim Nayoung; Yuri; Ahn Jung Hoon; Minseo; Boys’ Republic’s Suwoong; g.o.d’s Danny Ahn; and Shim Eun Jin.
