Late Actress Kang Soo Yeon’s Posthumous Movie “JUNG_E” Topped Netflix Global Rankings A Day After Its Release

Late actress Kang Soo Yeon‘s posthumous work “JUNG_E” ranked first on Netflix’s global rankings.

On January 22nd, according to FlixPatrol, an OTT viewing ranking aggregation site, “JUNG_E” ranked first in the Netflix movie category with an evaluation score of 685 the previous day.

It rose to the top with a large score difference from the American film “Looking for My Dog” (439 points), which took second place.

By country, it topped 31 countries including Korea, the United States, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Spain, Thailand, and Vietnam.

“JUNG_E”, which was released on January 20th, depicts the story of people who want to develop the best combat artificial intelligence (AI) robot. Kim Hyun Joo, Ryu Kyung Soo, and Kang Soo Yeon, who passed away last year, took on the lead roles. It is a new film by director Yeon Sang Ho, who made the films “Train to Busan”, “Hell” and “Peninsula”.
