Kang Ha Neul and Ha Ji Won’s New Drama “Curtain Call” has premiered at last.

According to Nielsen Korea, “Curtain Call” 1st episode has recorded an average nationwide rating of 7.2%. An impressive start for the drama and one of the best premiere numbers for a KBS 16-episode drama this year.

“Curtain Call” is led by Kang Ha Neul, Ha Ji Won, Go Doo Shim, and Sung Dong Il. It tells the story of people involved in the biggest scam on the earth by a man who received an unprecedented mission to fulfill a grandmother’s wish. In the drama,

Kang Ha Neul plays the role of unrecognized theater actor Yoo Jae Heon, who has to do his best for a grandmother who does not have much time left. Yoo Jae Heon is a positive and optimistic person about everything. He’s asked to play the role of the grandson of the dying grandmother, this changes his life. Ha Ji Won plays the role of Park Se Yeon, the general manager of Hotel Nakwon and the youngest daughter of the family who owns it. Her grandmother Ja Geum Soon (Go Doo Shim) doesn’t have much time left to live.

SBS’s “Cheer Up” will not air this week in light of the Itaewon tragedy.

tvN’s “Mental Coach Jegal” garnered an average nationwide rating of 1.8%.
