Kang Dong Won Reportedly Setting Up His Own Agency And Production Company 

Actor Kang Dong Won is reportedly in the process of establishing a one-man agency and production company.

OSEN reported on January 19th that Kang Dong Won did not sign an exclusive contract with any of the existing agencies, and set his mind on establishing a one-person agency and started in earnest.

On December 30 of last year, YG Entertainment said, “After discussions with Kang Dong Won, we ended our management duties. We would like to express our sincere gratitude and support to actor Kang Dong Won, who has been with us for a long time.”

Kang Dong Won moved to YG Entertainment in 2016 and signed contract renewals in 2020 and 2021. 

After announcing the termination of his exclusive contract, Kang Dong Won reportedly started preparing to establish a one-man agency.

Recently, an entertainment insider told OSEN, “Kang Dong Won is preparing to start his own company.”In the future, artists with the right direction can be brought in, but at the beginning of the establishment, they focus on being alone. Kang Dong Won, who has shown great interest in scenario development and production, reportedly plans to run a production company. He is thinking of co-producing with existing film companies depending on the project. 

It is speculated that the former editor-in-chief of H magazine plans to work with him to produce and operate the work.

Kang Dong Won, who has risen to the ranks of the top stars, debuted in the 2003 drama “She’s Confident” and starred in “Temptation of Wolves” (2004), “Our Happy Time” (2006), “The Voice of That Guy” (2007), “Jeon Woo Chi” (2009) and “Brothers-in-law” (2010),”’The Archipelago” (2014), “The Black Priests” (2015), “The Prosecutor’s Abduction” (2016),”1987” (2017), “The Peninsula” (2020), “Broker” (2022).
